I have had my T3 treadmill for 5 years. It was delivered in Dec 2007. About a year ago the belt started slipping. Made a phone call to the store and was connected with service answering machinge but no call back. I have been using it just for walking so no big deal. My husband got on it last month and he is 6'6"" 230 pounds. Belt slipped like crazy. I started calling and calling and calling at the store. No responses. I have vacation next week and kept calling. Finally tried online service with email. I get a call back from "April" and she informs me my warranty just recently expired. She says she only got a call from the store this month so SOL;Life Fitness T3-0 Treadmill you are out of warranty and that they won't honor it. The warranty was an additional few hundred dollars at the time of purchase. She did tell me how to tighten the belt which the owners manual specifically says not to do.
I currently have 2 treadmills. My other treadmill has worked flawlessly and without belt slippage for 10+ years. It is a Keys 8800. We bought the T3 LifeFitness because it has a longer belt for my tall husband.
So my advice to you purchasers is to not expect excellent service from this company. Don't buy the warranty from this company. There are plenty of treadmills out there. Find a good company that stands by its products.
