This is actually a sturdy well-working treadmill! If you are willing to have some "quirks" then this is a good buy for the price. As other reviewers stated, cheap console plastic (mine came cracked and although it doesn't affect functionality it looks bad) and the console is on backorder so we just installed our treadmill with the cracked console and it works fine. But, customer service was atleast helpful from Horizon. Also, we didn't really feel like the parts fit well together. Customer service sent us some replacement parts to help with that, though. Seemed like a lot of work to just get the treadmill to work/look right. BUT, it actually is comfortable and fun to run on. Quiet and the sound system is really good. So helpful to plug our iphones into and stream music while we work out. But, I have to agree, the fan is useless. It doesn't blow out enough air to cool anyone down whatsoever. All in all, we are happy with our purchase. The features more than meet our needs and the desk is cushy for the old feet.
